Droopy Brows & Eyelids

Elevation of droopy eyebrows is often performed in conjunction with the removal of excess skin and fat from the eyelids. By removing excess skin either above the brow or on the scalp, the surgeon can lift the brow and eyelids. This surgery aims to create a more vibrant, alert appearance.

Droopy eyelids, which often interfere with one's field of vision, can be corrected through a simple tightening of the muscles. Known as the "Muller's Muscle Resection", this surgery is performed to correct the problem of obstructed vision due to droopy eyelids.

Mid-Face Cheek L ift

One of the earliest signs of aging occurs in the cheek, or mid-face. All of our faces are built with the skin on the exterior, muscles underneath, strategically positioned natural fat pads, and then bone. It is the minimal amount of "droop" to our cheek fat pad that produces the common cheek mid-face descent. The effects of gravity on this area also exaggerate the prominent deep wrinkles between the edge of the nose and corner of the mouth.

This condition is of common concern to patients seeking aesthetic facial rejuvenation. This cheek lift surgery not only can restore the cheek to a more normal position, but also smooth out the folds that occur on the sides of the nose while decreasing the hollowing appearance at the top of the cheek. This surgery is often performed in conjunction with the lower eyelid blepharoplasty.
